The Great Decorate Generosity

 

Antonino Salon and Spa is grateful for all of our guests for their donations to The Great Decorate.

Because of your generosity, The Great Decorate raised $46,202.23 to benefit local teens who are about to age out of the foster care system. This year each participating teens will receive $2310 when they turn 18, which can be used as a down payment for an apartment, clothes for a job or even a vehicle-anything to get started as independent adults.

We are especially proud that our salon raised $5570.31-the most out of the 30 participating businesses in Birmingham. We also received the “Judge’s Choice Display” from the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.

Between the two award wins, our salon received a prize of $10,000 in sponsored grants, which we donated back to The Great Decorate.

We look forward to future years and future trees.

Our Velcro Roller Tree will remain in the salon until January 21, 2024-so stop in and see it soon.

The Great Decorate

The Great Decorate is an annual holiday decorating contest that originated in 2019. It raises funds to support local foster teens who are about to age-out of the foster care system. Each year, a group of foster teen recipients are selected for The Great Decorate through a partnership with the Michigan Adoption Resource Exchange.

From November 29-December 31, 2023, visitors are welcome to stop by participating restaurants, retail and service locations throughout downtown Birmingham, Michigan to view magnificent holiday decor and vote for their favorite display by donating online.

Monika Essen/Set and Interior Designer conceptually designed Antonino Salon’s “Velcro Roller Tree”. It was assembled by our team members at the salon and consists of over 200 velcro rollers, scissors, braided synthetic hair, furry hair pom-poms, pipe cleaners, twinkle lights and even a hula hoop.

Introducing the Vlasic CBD Line

 

We are so excited to announce that we now have the Vlasic CBD line available at Antonino Salon and Spa. Whether you are looking for sleep relief, pain relief or natural energy, we have something for everybody. We even have CBD dog treats to help your furry friends sleep better, eat better and feel better.

The line was started locally by the Vlasic family. They have been guests of ours for many years, so we are very excited to carry their products.
