Antonino Salon and Spa and Primary Syn Hair Color introduces “Synfully Hot” from the 2015 Trend Release –“SYNFUL-2015”

This head turning and elegant hair color, customized by the Antonino Salon Design Team, was created by combining cool and warm red tones together. “When deciding on a hair color, it is important to analyze a person’s skin tone”, said Anthony Marsalese of Antonino Salon and Spa, and “given that our model was neutral, we could have gone either way; warm or cool, so we chose something in the middle. And by using Primary Syn Hair Color, her color will be long lasting, reflective of light and leave the hair in better condition than before we started”.

To schedule a consultation to find out which hair color best compliments your natural skin tone, call Antonino Salon at 248-258-5990 or request an on-line appointment today.

The styling team from Antonino Salon, led by Anthony Marsalese, and Annette Abdelfatah, created edgy, romantic and very commercial looks for the 2014 Antonino Salon and Primary Syn Photo Shoot on October 27, 2014.

The photo’s, taken by Jenny Risher, “showcases four completely different looks and are all very wearable”, said Anthony Marsalese, “I think our clients will enjoy this season’s trends and will be inspired by the looks we created”. The trend release is the third collaboration between Antonino Salon and Primary Syn Hair Color. The color company’s owners, Toni Coleman and Tammy Coleman, enjoyed the day as they watched the Antonino team style four models, which included a vibrant red head, a deep chocolate brunette, a modern Ombre and an edgy, textured blonde.

Along with Anthony and Annette, the team from Antonino Salon included Tony Suarez, Janelle Drake, Catherine Wallis, Heather Hill and Jeff Davison. Todd Scogg of Todd’s Room in Birmingham did make up and Jeff Newsom styled the clothing.

Be sure to keep an eye on the Antonino website or follow us on Facebook, Google Plus or Twitter for the release of our newest photo gallery sometime in November and see for yourself why Antonino Salon is the best salon in town.

Detroit has taken another step in proving to the world it has come back. On June 19, Anna Wintour , the Artistic Director of Conde Naste publications and editor in chief of Vogue Magazine, came to our city to promote the opening of a new exhibit at The DIA; “Detroit-Bruce Weber“. The new exhibit features photos the legendary photographer has taken of “ordinary folk” in our great city. Weber first visited Detroit in 2006, when he photographed an expansive spread featuring Kate Moss for W magazine. He returned last year to capture images used for a Shinola ad campaign.  Weber is best known for his work on Calvin Klein ads, and spreads for Abercrombie and Fitch, Vogue and Vanity Fair.

Antonino Salon and Spa owner, Anthony Marsalese was invited to visit Anna Wintour four times during her two day visit to style her signature hairstyle. The last minute invitation required some rescheduling, but every client on Anthony’s schedule encouraged him to take advantage of this “once in a lifetime opportunity”. So the big question everyone wanted to know…………”No, she is nothing like the character, Miranda Priestly, portrayed by Meryl Streep in the hit movie “The Devil Wears Prada“, says Anthony. Within the first five minutes of meeting her, she made both Anthony and Todd Scogg of Todd’s Room (who was invited to do her makeup), very comfortable “She was very pleasant, very appreciative and professional” remarked Anthony, adding “she is obviously an extremely  busy women with tremendous responsibilities.

Be sure to visit the DIA before the exhibition closes on September 7, 2014 to see Weber’s wonderful tribute to Detroit.
